Safeguarding is about keeping children and adults safe from abuse and neglect.

Reporting abuse

If you need to raise a Safeguarding Adults concern, please call 01472 256 256. This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

How to make a referral

If you are a professional body you will be expected to make your referrals through to the Single Point of Access.

The Mental Capacity Act (MCA)

This act is designed to protect and empower people who may lack the mental capacity to make their own decisions about their care and treatment. It applies to people aged 16 and over.

Transport/getting around

Access local travel and public transport information including community transport services.

The non-emergency patient transport service helps people get to their hospital appointments when they are too poorly or are physically unable to get there otherwise.

Care Plus Groups’ transport team delivers a passenger transport service across North East Lincolnshire to those members of the community that need support to travel from home to local day centres.

Digital support

There is local digital support helping you to get online and build your digital skills and free use of computers and WiFi in North East Lincolnshire.
