About this provider
Sussex House has a clear and simple aim: to provide person centred care in partnership with older people. We believe that people who choose to live with us should be at the centre of everything we do and that they should make decisions about their own care.
At the heart of our approach is the desire to give people maximum choice and enable them to lead full and independent lives. We pride ourselves in rehabilitating service users to return to their homes within the community
About the premises
We provide person centered care to meet everyone’s needs. We provide long term care as well as short stays. We also offer rehabilitation within the home to give people the empowerment to strive and in time the ability to live independently in the community.
Sussex House Care Home is situated in the sea town of Cleethorpes, it is a 24-bedded care home. We are registered to provide personal care and accommodation for people with mental health needs.
The service offers a range of en-suite rooms over three levels. There is a passenger lift. We also have two communal lounge areas these each include a dinning area, an activity and creative room. We have two wet rooms and several toilet facilities. We also promote independence so to enable this we have an independent skills kitchen for residents. We also as part of our rehabilitation have two self contained rooms these include a kitchenette a shower rooms. Outside we have a safe courtyard space, we also offer a larger garden to the front of the home, It is very private and is a decked area including a fountain and a gardening area for residents to grow plants and vegetables. We offer a range of daily activities including walks on the promenade with tea/coffee, cinema outings, chair based sports therapy, bingo, dominos, arts and crafts, promoting residents to attend community clubs and groups. We have themed parties and events.

We have WiFi in all areas all rooms have a TV, we are able to accommodate pets by arrangement.
We have a mobile phone for residents to use to have personal private conversations in their rooms. We are near local shops and on a local buss route. Assess is wheelchair friendly.
Costs
Costing for weekly stay is at this time £517.37 but prices should be checked due to increases.
