Exemplar Health Care is a leading provider of specialist nursing care for adults living with a range of complex and high acuity needs.

We support people living with neuro-disabilities, brain injuries, spinal injuries, stroke, mental ill-health, physical disabilities, learning disabilities and/or autism and complex dementia, in our 32 complex needs care homes across England.

About the premises

At Havenmere specialist nursing home in Immingham, the main home is arranged over three ten-bed units; Mayflower, Clyfton and Pilgrim. Each unit has a choice of lounges, a dining room and kitchen. In addition to the wraparound care provided by the main home, Havenmere also provides a transitional care pathway through the Bridgeway unit, a six bedroom apartment and two one bed apartments.

We also support:

• Huntingdon’s disease
• Brain injury and stroke
• Complex mental health, and
• Challenging behaviour

Service users are encouraged to decorate their bedrooms to suit personal tastes and there are TV points in each room with WiFi in communal areas. Every bedroom has an accessible en-suite wet room with additional multi-sensory bathrooms on each unit. Well-maintained accessible gardens include decking areas for sitting and relaxing, space for parties and areas for gardening.
