About the premises

Heathcotes Humberston is a specialist residential service for adults with a Learning Disability who may have dual diagnoses and associated complex needs.

The service has eight en-suite bedrooms and provides twenty-four-hour support. All staff are NAPPI (Non Abusive Physical and Psychological Interventions) trained and use the NAPPI red and green scale to maintain positive influence on each service user, with a view to minimising the level and frequency of challenging behaviour.

The service has multiple communal lounges, kitchen and dining areas and large outside space with a garden area. There is a shared bathroom on the ground floor, as well as a shared bathroom upstairs in addition to the en-suite shower rooms. Service users also have access to a quiet communal lounge where they can use the computer or enjoy in-house activities.
