Advice during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak
The household isolation instruction as a result of COVID-19 does not apply if you need to leave your home to escape domestic abuse. Advice is available on the Government’s website. If you need help, you can contact North East Lincolnshire Women’s Aid on (01472) 575757. Use 999 in an emergency.

Information and advice on reporting crime is available on Police UK’s website. Victim Support offer free help and support to victims of crime including emotional support and practical support like help getting locks changed.
If you are concered about fire safety within your home, you can get in touch with Humberside Fire and Rescue Service to see if you are eligible for a free fire safety check.
If you are experiencing violence in your home, or a pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour, Women’s Aid and Refuge can support you. Together they run a freephone 24-Hour National Domestic Violence Helpline. Humberside Police also have a dedicated team who deal with domestic abuse and The Men’s Advice Line offers a confidential helpline for male victims of domestic violence and abuse, whether you are in a heterosexual or a same-sex relationship.
